Welcome to Learning - Kia Maioha Ngā Ākoranga is support for whānau of 3 - 5 year old children/tamariki engaging in an Early Learning Service | Kōhanga Reo or Pre-school for the first time.

Our Kaitautoko Whānau / Engaging Priority Families Facilitator develops an Early Learning plan with whānau to identify their needs, values and aspirations for their tamariki.

Whānau are supported to establish foundations or their children/tamariki in preparation for eir transition into an Early Learning Service, Kōhanga Reo or online learning of their choice.

Our Kaitautoko Whānau / Engaging Priority Families Facilitator will continue to support children/tamariki throughout their preschool education and their transition for up to six months after starting Primary School.

The aim is to ensure all children/tamariki have access to high quality early learning by having support, overcoming barriers and where they can develop a strong educational foundation in preparation for starting school/kura.
